Who can register for JOY Summer Camp?
JOY Summer Camp welcomes anyone who will be 3 years old or entering 6th grade by September.
How can I register my child(ren) for JOY Summer Camp?
We prefer that families register with our online registration form: www.pcjh.org/joysummercamp/
To register and reserve a child’s camp days the following must be submitted:
– Registration form, including consent forms
– $50 registration fee per child
– A copy of the child’s immunization records
ONLY required if your child or children are between ages 3-5 years old.
What is the JOY Summer Camp schedule?
JOY Summer Camp runs for 10.5 weeks, from Wednesday, June 15 through Friday, August 26. Our program is Monday-Friday except for our first week. In addition, we do not have JOY Summer Camp on Monday, July 4. Our regular camp hours are 9:00am – 3:30pm. Before/Aftercare hours are 8:00 – 5:30pm.
What does the “Bible Devotion” part of this program mean?
Every day we spend some time with Bible stories. Our aim is to help each child grow in character and understanding through questioning and exploring. JOY Summer Camp works hard to deliver messages that teach Christian truths and values of honesty, kindness, forgiveness, mutual respect, patience, and love. Over the years, we have enjoyed working with people of many different faith backgrounds. Please contact us if you have any questions about this part of our program.
What type of discounts does JOY Summer Camp offer?
Our program has discounts for the following:
Early Registration: students who register by April 15 will receive one week of free aftercare (3:30-5:30pm).
Siblings: Parents/guardians who have more than one child attending will receive 10% off of the least expensive child’s tuition.
PCJH Members: For the 2016 season, PCJH members will receive free Before/Aftercare for the whole summer.
Does JOY Summer Camp have scholarships?
Our program has scholarships available through the Community Resource Center (CRC). There is a link to their online application form on our website site. www.pcjh.org/joysummercamp/ .
What is your flexibility in registering days?
A family can register for as many day in a weeks, and as many weeks in our summer season as they wish. We are very flexible in how and when families register their children to attend.
