All are welcome & encouraged to explore
We’re here to welcome all middle and high school students through a variety of energetic, exciting programs, meaningful relationships with volunteers, and a supportive Christian community. Students will definitely discover and grow in their life and faith in God through Christ. For more information, contact Liz Collins, the Youth and Young Adult Coordinator, at email@example.com.
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. ~1 Timothy 4:12
Middle School (6th-8th Grade)

During the school year, we meet for a delicious breakfast at 8:00AM in the Luke Room. We do a simple check in, discussion about faith in Christ and prayer. Transportation to the school is provided.
Lock-ins, bowling, lake trips, mission trips and loads of other activities are planned throughout the year. Check out the calendar for the latest information!
Confirmation (9th grade and up)
In the Fall Quarter
What’s the Bible all about? What does it mean to be a Christian? What’s the “Trinity”? These are some of the questions we’ll explore in what we call Confirmation. Confirmation is a 12-week “course” discovering the basics of what the church believes. At the end of the 12 weeks, students will receive a special gift and have the opportunity to join the church as an active member. It’s a great way to meet new friends, ask questions and learn about God.
Youth Group and More
High school youth group meets (need to confirm with Liz)
Lagoon trips, skiing, mission trips, retreats, lock-ins, and all sorts of fun activities are planned throughout the year. Don’t miss out and bring friends!
PCJH has adopted a Safe Church Policy which is highly regulated to guarantee all students, regardless of age, are in a safe environment. Background checks and annual training in safe church policies are required for all staff and volunteers. The church intentionally keeps updated safety and security measures, especially as they relate to children and youth ministry.
Parents of teenagers encounter many new challenges and opportunities and often find themselves in unfamiliar territory in their role as parents. PCJH continues to offer a variety of occasions throughout the year to better equip, encourage, and support parents. Look for upcoming events in the church calendar.
