PCJH WOMEN’S RETREAT “Moving Beyond Ordinary” September 28-30, 2018 Lakeside Lodge on Fremont Lake in Pinedale, WY SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER  Chris Welch Chris loves teaching Scripture and watching it take root in people’s lives. A mother, pastor’s wife, former junior high teacher and a teaching assistant for six years on the pastoral staff of Christ Pacific Church, Huntington Beach, California, Chris brings a wealth of normal everyday experiences to illustrate her Biblical teaching. Chris was born and raised in Illinois until moving to Santa Barbara, Ca. where she attended Westmont College. She fell in love with a young blond surfer and married him after graduating from college. After teaching junior high for several years she decided to go back to school herself. She received a Master’s of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, California. Now retired, she and her husband currently reside in Huntington Beach, California. FOR All women in the area and beyond THEME & MESSAGE “Moving Beyond Ordinary” Moving Beyond Ordinary is a call to anyone who desires to know more about living lives marked by the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Together we will explore what Scripture has to say about the call of Jesus to joy beyond measure. Some of the best spiritual insights happen when we are having coffee with a friend, running errands, at our jobs, even loading the dishwasher. How does God speak into the ordinary? How do we answer Jesus’ question of “Why did you doubt?” when our daily life has become out of control and chaotic? So join us. This is a special call to concentrate on what is truly important. Let’s laugh, exhale, discover new ways of doing life or be reminded of old paths we have forgotten we know. FRIDAY (EVENING SESSION 7PM) Sign in from 6:00pm-7:00pm Retreat begins with a 7:00pm evening Session Dessert and snacks will be provided You are welcome to come early and get situated in your cabin and relax by the lake or in the dining room and have dinner. Dinner is not included in the price SATURDAY (All Day) We will have two sessions in the morning, free time in the afternoon and an evening session Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided There will be some free time on Saturday to enjoy the area. Take a walk, bring your fishing pole and try your hand at fishing. We also have full use, at no extra charge, of all the boats and kayaks to get out of the water. SUNDAY (until Noon) Sunday until noon, we will have a morning session. Brunch will be provided COST Pre Registration & Payment is required to reserve a spot!! Price: Includes two nights stay, meals stated above, all sessions, and use of Lodge amenities. All cabins have their own fireplace, a private bath and two queen beds.
