Our vision for adult spiritual formation

is to intentionally grow in our relationship with God by committing ourselves to authentically live our faith, increase our knowledge, nurture our personal devotion, expand our witness, and further mature as faithful followers of Jesus Christ. We invite and welcome you to explore and participate in any of the listed opportunities.

Adult Classes

Each week, PCJH provides a variety of interesting and inspiring classes exploring the Christian faith. Come and meet new friends and grow deeper in your relationship with God! All are welcome to attend, free childcare is provided. Check the Events Calendar to find classes and up-to-date schedules.

Upcoming Retreats/Special Events

PCJH holds many special events throughout the year, including annual men's, women's and young adult retreats, several annual Christmas, Easter and other holiday celebrations, themed Sunday services, various ministry and service opportunities, and guest speakers from around the world. Check the website Events Calendar for an up-to-date look at what events are approaching!

Adult Bible Studies

We have several opportunities where people can gather, develop friendships, and explore scripture together while enjoying discussions about the Christian faith. These Bible studies are open to anyone interested in going the next step in studying the Bible. Women’s study is Tuesdays, 12:00 noon-1:00pm, facilitated by the pastors. Men’s studies are Thursdays, 12:00 noon-1:00pm at Whole Grocer in the Community Room, facilitated by the pastors, and Saturdays, 8:00-9:00am, at PCJH.

Small Groups

Small Groups will be launching at PCJH this Fall 2019! We are incredibly excited to engage our congregation in transformational relationships, study,  prayer and service, and to see PCJH develop a culture of thriving small groups within our church.
