Read below for PCJH's updates, announcements, and responses to COVID-19, for congregational & community support and resources, and for ways to reach out in love during this time of need.
In-Person at PCJH
PCJH is open for in-person worship on Sundays at 10:15am, and on the first Sunday of every month at 5:00pm for an Outdoor Worship Service. We ask that all who join us in worship or in our building follow Health & Safety Guidelines (as outlined by the CDC), including wearing masks, practicing social distancing & good hygiene (hand washing, using hand sanitizer), and staying home if sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms. Thank you for putting love into action and helping protect our church community!
Whether or not we all choose to meet in person Sunday mornings, we can still gather in spirit and worship together! Join us by livestreaming the 10:15am worship service - live stream video will begin at about 10:10am on our YouTube channel. Need help finding the livestream? Click the button below for step-by-step instructions.
As a response to the impact COVID-19 is having on our local community, we are providing free, safe, and delicious meals for pick-up for those in need. Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00pm, just drive up to the north entrance of PCJH and a volunteer will bring the meal in a to-go container to your car. These meals are prepared by a professional chef in a state-licensed commercial kitchen. If you would like it delivered to your residence, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to make a delivery order. Spread the word!
Starting 3/18 and for the next several weeks we will be taking up a special offering that will go to the PCJH COVID-19 Response Fund. To give, go to www.pcjh.org/donate, or mail checks to PCJH with the memo "Special Offering". These gifts will go towards the following efforts: PCJH “Take-Out Thursdays” initiative to the community; Deacon Ministry financial support for those who are in need, unemployed, etc; financial support for PCJH employees who have lost wages due to the closure of some church programs; contribute to One22’s local relief efforts in town; and other efforts yet to be determined. Thank you for your generosity!
