We're here to welcome...

all middle and high school students through a variety of energetic, exciting programs, meaningful relationships with volunteers, and a supportive Christian community. Students will discover and grow in their life and faith in God through Christ.

For more information, contact Megan Walker, PCJH's Youth and Young Adult Coordinator, at mwalker@pcjh.org.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a unique time in which students have the opportunity to ask questions about God, the world, and their role as a believer in Christ! Students, youth staff, and mentors will learn with and encourage one another in this month long journey, ending with a retreat in the Spring.

Confirmation lectures and discussions include theology, Bible study, history of the church, and a focus on building relationships with God, each other, and the church family, taught by Youth Coordinator Megan.

After completing the class, students will be confirmed as full members of the Presbyterian church and have the opportunity to be baptized for the first time, or to re-affirm their baptism!

PCJH's next Confirmation Class will be offered in early spring of 2025. Any student 7th grade and up is welcome!

Contact Megan at mwalker@pcjh.org if interested.

Weekly Youth Group

All Middle AND High School Students are invited to join our youth staff and wonderful volunteers the Youth Lounge Tuesday mornings, from 7:27-8:35am, for breakfast, games, and bible study/small group time! Students will either walk or be dropped off at school from PCJH. Reach out to Megan with any questions! mwalker@pcjh.org

Sunday Mornings

Middle and High School Students are invited to gather together every Sunday during the 10:15am service at PCJH for Youth Sunday School. This is an opportunity to worship together, build community, learn from each other and learn about God!

1. by helping youth discover and pursue a personal faith in Jesus Christ.
2. by providing a fun, safe, grace-filled environment where each person feels welcomed, accepted and encouraged.
3. by building positive, healthy relationships with youth leaders and the church community.
4. by supporting, partnering and educating the parents of our youth.
5. by engaging the younger generation in ways that bring energy and joy into the full life of the church, affirming their value as a part of the church community.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. ~1 Timothy 4:12

Nearly every day of the week we have adult, children or youth ministry events at PCJH. There is always something special happening - hope to see you soon!
