Meet JOY! Part 2

Last week, we introduced two of our 2020 JOY staff members – this week, we’re introducing three more! JOY staffers are valuable contributors to our church family during summer. This year especially, camp could not happen without their adaptability, commitment, and care to JOY’s mission and to the campers and families they work with.

Read about three of our wonderful staff members, MacKenzie, Suzy, and Heidi (or K-Dizzle, Tie Dye, and Togi) below, to learn more about them and their roles at PCJH!

Hi, my name is MacKenzie (camp name is K-Dizzle) and I’m from Jackson! I’m currently working toward earning my master’s degree in social work at the University of Wyoming. I also love art (mainly drawing) and I’m in charge of leading arts and crafts at JOY Camp!

Hello! My name is Suzy Garcia, I go by Tie Dye at JOY Summer Camp. I am in my 4th year to obtain my communications major at the University of Wyoming as a Daniels Fund Scholar. I am the photographer/videographer/program staff for the camp! Photography has always been a favorite hobby of mine and I’m grateful for the opportunity.

Hi, my name is Heidi Henderson (aka Togi) and I am going into my senior year at the University of Wyoming this fall. I’m studying PE with a minor in music. I am a counselor here at Joy Summer Camp and I work with the 3rd graders! My favorite hobbies include snowboarding, fishing, hiking and camping. I am loving working here!

Please continue to lift up these ladies, and the rest of the JOY Summer Camp staff, in your prayers as they navigate an unpredictable, eventful summer with energy and faith!
