With just about half a month left of JOY Summer Camp, we are blown away by the work, energy and faith shown by our 2020 staff. We’re finishing up our “Meet JOY!” series with two final staffers. Meet Rey and Chai below!

Hello! My name is Renee (aka “Rey”) and I am the Assistant Director/Head Counselor at J.O.Y. Summer Camp. After leaving Pardeeville, WI (with my Psychology degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison), I  moved to Vail and then Jackson.  Since moving here 15 years ago, I’ve received training in Love and Logic, Adventure Education and Brain-Based Play therapy.  However, I am so grateful to God and my PCJH family, for giving me this amazing gift of children for the past 14 years! Thank you for enabling me to pass on the most precious gift of faith in Jesus and grow, exponentially, from these precious little examples!

Charity/ Chai here! I’m a 20 year old, second-year counselor at JOY summer camp and blessed to be so! After growing up in Oklahoma, Jackson, and Missouri, I attended a YWAM discipleship training school and a film school in Australia. Now I am enrolled in CWC to major in outdoor adventure and education.
