Becoming a Member of PCJH
Are you looking for a church to call home? We invite you to become a member of PCJH and join us in growing together in faith, community, and service.
Membership is more than just joining a church---it’s about belonging to a family of believers who support, encourage, and walk alongside one another in our journey with Christ. Church members are eligible for leadership positions (if interested), and can vote on important matters such as electing officers, calling pastors, and other church decisions. Whether you’ve been attending for a while or are new to our church, whether you’re been a life-long Presbyterian or grew up in another denomination (or none at all), we welcome you to take this next step in deepening your faith and connection with our church family.
1. Worship & Get Involved
Start by joining us for Sunday services and/or participating in church activities, small groups, or service opportunities. This is a great way to experience the heart of our community. Call the church office, or check us out on our website or Facebook page to learn more about ways to get involved
2. Connect with Our Pastors & Membership Team
We’d love to get to know you! Reach out to one of our pastors, church staff, or a member of the Membership Team to ask questions, learn more about PCJH, and explore what membership means for you.
3. Attend our “Belong” Class
Attend our “Belong” Class
Our Belong class is designed for those interested in becoming members and learning more about our church and faith. You’ll discover PCJH’s mission, vision, beliefs and ministries, as well as what it means to be a Presbyterian. It’s also a great opportunity to meet others on a similar journey. The two-hour class is offered periodically after Sunday services, and we provide lunch and childcare for children under the age of five. Check with the front office or the Events Calendar for upcoming dates.

5. Affiliate Membership
If you belong to another Protestant church but worship with us seasonally or from time to time, you can become an Affiliate Member (non-voting) of PCJH. This allows you to stay connected with your home church while actively engaging in the life and mission of PCJH.
