Our vision for adult spiritual formation

is to intentionally grow in our relationship with God by committing ourselves to authentically live our faith, increase our knowledge, nurture our personal devotion, expand our witness, and further mature as faithful followers of Jesus Christ. We invite and welcome you to explore and participate in any of the listed opportunities.

Adult Classes

Each week, PCJH provides a variety of interesting, and inspiring classes which explore in depth the Christian faith. Come and meet new friends and grow deeper in your relationship with God! All are welcome to attend, free childcare is provided. Classes are offered on Sundays at 9:00am in the Genesis Room.

Upcoming Retreats/Special Events

PCJH holds many special events throughout the year, including annual men's, women's and young adult retreats, several annual Christmas, Easter and other holiday celebrations, themed Sunday services, various ministry and service opportunities, and guest speakers from around the world. Adult Bible Studies

We have several opportunities where people can gather, develop friendships, and explore scripture together while enjoying discussions about the Christian faith. These Bible studies are open to anyone interested in going the next step in studying the Bible. The women’s study is Tuesdays, 12:00 noon-1:00pm, facilitated by the pastors. The men’s studies are Thursdays, 12:00 noon-1:00pm at Hole Grocer Community Room, facilitated by the pastors; and, Saturdays, 8:00-9:00am, at PCJH.

Small Groups

Small groups are vital to building a vibrant faith community. They are a places for fellowship, study, service and caring. We strongly encourage every person to be a part of a small group experience. Details for the small group ministry are coming soon!
