NEWS OF THE PCJH FAMILY:
How to Think Like Jesus – All are invited to this new Wednesday evening class following dinner. Based on Brennan Manning’s book, The Importance of Being Foolish, we will discuss how Jesus reorients our lives, teaching us to think in entirely different, and sometimes, foolish ways. Books will be available at our first meeting.
Advent Devotional – PCJH is writing its own daily devotional guide for Advent! Stop by the counter in the lobby to pick up the guidelines to be one of our writers for this encouraging, reflective guide. All submissions are due by November 15 so please don’t hesitate. Reflect on the day’s scripture, share a story, write a poem for this home-grown devotional guide. Contact Pastor Steve Weber for more info.
Jackson Cupboard Food Donations – Will start being collected in November. Please stay tuned for further details.
Fall Adult Fellowship Activities – If you are interested in getting involved with the planning of church fellowship activities, please let Cindy Dahlin know, firstname.lastname@example.org
ASCENT – Young Adult Fellowship – This is our rebooted gathering of singles and young married folks, Thursdays at 6:00pm at PCJH. It’s designed to spur friendships and spiritual growth as well as just have a good time with music, discussion and some food.
Music on Spotify – Enjoy PCJH worship music during the week by following us on Spotify. Opening an account takes just a few minutes, and you’ll have inspiring music at your fingertips to brighten your day, console you, or just center your mind.
