The historical Christian positions on social issues don’t match up with contemporary political alignments

Pastor Tim Keller is a popular preacher and author of our time. I have learned so much from his writings. This past weekend Keller wrote an opinion piece in the New York Times that I consider to be especially thought-provoking and relevant for our current political landscape in the United States. I believe he articulates the challenges we face as Christians who are citizens of heaven yet also citizens of an earthly nation like the U.S. I hope it informs you in your own pursuit to be an engaged Christian in our world today.
