Ally was born and raised in the Bay Area of California, where she grew up involved in the Presbyterian church where her parents were married and grandparents were active members – church was a home away from home. She attended Azusa Pacific University in LA, majoring in Sociology, where she developed a lifelong faith in Christ and was able to participate in several enriching ministry opportunities. After graduating, Ally worked in Grand Teton National Park at Signal Mountain Lodge for two summer seasons while serving on the park’s ministry team with the organization A Christian Ministry in the National Parks. She fell head over heels for Jackson Hole and life in the mountains, and God His grace led her to the Communications Coordinator position at PCJH, and a beautiful church family. Ally loves hiking & backpacking (and really any outdoor activity that involves sunshine), wildflower gazing, coffee drinking, reading, and having heart-to-heart talks & walks. She holds fast to Psalm 16:11: “You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.”
