We know, the news these days is heavy, even overwhelming. In response, we’re highlighting some “good news” from our church body and building this past week! Take a look below…
We’ve partnered with Hole Food Rescue by giving them use of our facilities – they are currently utilizing our commercial kitchen throughout the week to prepare meals for school-aged children in need. We thank them for their hard work, dedication and responsiveness in caring for our community!
We held our first “Take-Out Thursday” for those in need of a free meal. Through our drive-through pick-up and delivery orders, we provided about 140 meals to our community!
We loved getting to see your families’ snow creations in our Snow Creation Challenge! You can watch the YouTube video of impressive submissions here.
And we were thrilled to see PCJH member Peter Keenan on the front page of the Jackson Hole Daily Monday, March 23rd, playing music in a spontaneous concert for the isolated assisted living facility residents of Legacy Lodge! The church body makes a difference – we each have unique opportunities to share the light and love of Christ to those in our own lives, with the gifts God has bestowed upon us.
Remember, when in need of some good news – we carry the BEST news, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are rescued, redeemed, and set free in the love of our sovereign, compassionate, present Father God. That kind of good news can never be overshadowed, diminished or taken away from us. We have this Hope to cling to, celebrate and share.
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” ~Hebrews 4:16
