We're here to welcome...
all middle and high school students through a variety of energetic, exciting programs, meaningful relationships with volunteers, and a supportive Christian community. Students will discover and grow in their life and faith in God through Christ.
For more information, contact Megan Walker, PCJH's Youth and Young Adult Coordinator, at mwalker@pcjh.org.
Confirmation
Confirmation is a unique time in which students have the opportunity to ask questions about God, the world, and their role as a believer in Christ! Students, youth staff, and mentors will learn with and encourage one another in this month long journey, ending with a retreat in the Spring. After completing the class, students will be confirmed as full members of the Presbyterian church and have the opportunity to be baptized for the first time, or to re-affirm their baptism!
PCJH's next Confirmation Class will be offered in spring of 2026. Any 8th or 9th grade student is welcome!
Contact Megan at mwalker@pcjh.org if interested.

Middle School Youth Group

High School Youth Group
During the school year, High School students meet for an hour on Sunday evenings, starting at 6:30pm, for dessert and a devotional! All are welcome to be a part of this community. Just show up!

Sunday Mornings
Middle and High School Students are invited to gather together every Sunday during the 10:15am service at PCJH for Youth Sunday School. This is an opportunity to worship together, build community, learn from each other and learn about God!

1. to be Grounded in Christ. We seek to be a vibrant ministry, rooted in Jesus Christ, scripture, prayer, grace, and gratitude.
2. to be Welcoming. PCJH is a place where students can feel a sense of warmth and acceptance to come as they are, ask questions about life and faith, and to find a sense of belonging within this community through building and deepening relationships.
3. to Partner with Parents. Our staff and leaders facilitate opportunities for spiritual formation of parents, tools to engage with faith in meaningful ways with their kids, and encouragement. Parents, you are not alone!
4. to Foster Intergenerational Relationships. We want to build bridges between generations within this church through opportunities for students to engage with caring adults and for symbiotic relationships. This Church values youth as belonging to the body of Christ and PCJH.
5. to be Missional. The Great commission is our inspiration that we have been called to serve and to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We encourage students, and provide opportunities for them to put their faith into action by reaching out to the community and neighbors in love and humility.
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. ~1 Timothy 4:12
Nearly every day of the week we have adult, children or youth ministry events at PCJH. There is always something special happening - hope to see you soon!
